Foundation for the Nations

Since 1999 CampFest has been a Christian youth festival organized by YFC Slovakia that around 6,000 people attend each August.  The festival requires a lot of technical support. Security experts recommended a perimeter fence for those attending the festival and for neighbouring houses.

With financial assistance from Foundation for the Nations CampFest was able to purchase:

• a removable fence to act as a perimeter during CampFest
• a container for storage of tent & equipment to protect during winter

• The removable fence made the preparation work before CampFest much faster and smoother. It also helped the security.
• The shipping container and the roof attached to it created space for safe and proper storage of material used for CampFest, especially tents. In the previous years, we had to repair tents that were damaged by mice or humidity. This year, after storing the tents in the container, we did not have to solve this problem anymore.
• Buying the fence and containers contributed to the overall atmosphere in the organization team and the group of 200 volunteers
• The devices are not only used for CampFest, but they are being used throughout the whole year for YFC ministry and for other partnering organizations as well.
• The removable fence is now being used to protect the construction of one of our buildings, which will serve as an office and recording studio for LifeTV – our newly launched Christian TV.
• The tents that are stored in the shipping container are used for children and youth camps in our YFC facility called Ranch. We also use the tents to help other partnering organizations with their events and camps throughout the year.
